To use, simply choose the side that matches best and position the edges of fabric in the center of the fold-over elastic. Fold the elastic over the raw edges and pin at the beginning. For smooth edges, set the stitch to a straight stitch or a narrow, medium-length zig-zag. Carefully guide fabric and fold-over elastic under the machine needle and stitch. For a gathered edge, guide fabric and fold-over elastic with one hand as you stretch the elastic tightly with the other hand. Then straight or zig-zag stitch on the edge of the fold-over elastic, catching all layers.
